About our rooms
At Flinten Horsens we offer accommodation near the center of Horsens.
Rooms have private bathrooms, toilets, comfortable box mattresses and space to sit around a table and relax.
All rooms, except the six-person room, have a TV. All rooms have access to a fully equipped, shared guest kitchen.
Our rooms are rented out as private rooms, we offer rooms from double rooms to up to six-person rooms.

2, 3, 4 & 6 bed rooms, Hotel comfort or Hostel room
All our rooms have their own bathroom and toilet, as well as a cozy seating area with table and chairs.
If there are more of you, our 3-, 4- and 6-person rooms have extra folding bunk beds, so that the space is optimally utilized. Our 2-4-bed rooms have a TV and all rooms are available with either a view of Nørrestrand Nature Reserve or a private terrace with garden furniture in the summer months.
All guests have access to a fully equipped guest kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, family or group, we have a solution to suit your needs.

We are located in beautiful surroundings close to Nørrestrand Nature Reserve, which gives guests the opportunity to combine their stay with wonderful nature experiences.
Our guests have access to a well-equipped shared kitchen, a cozy living room with a fireplace, and comfortable sofa groups where you can enjoy a quiet moment or meet other guests.
For the active, there is a hobby room with billiards, air hockey, play kitchen, LEGO and various games.
In addition, we offer free parking and a locked bicycle shed.
Whether you are here to relax, be active or enjoy nature, you will find the perfect facilities with us.
Quick and easy self-check-in
Get straight to the point without waiting
At Danhostel Horsens we have made check-in easy and flexible with self-service arrival. We do not have a staffed reception, but our staff is always present on the property and can be contacted if necessary via the emergency telephone.
Upon arrival, you will find a welcome note at the main entrance with the name of the person who made the booking. The note contains all the necessary information about key management, access and practical details.
Your room key is ready in the key box at the main entrance and gives access to both the front door and your room. Remember to always have the key with you, as the door locks automatically when you leave the room. To unlock, place the key on the scanner at the door – a safe, simple and flexible solution for your overnight stay.
Worth knowing about accommodation at a hostel
Everyone has their own ideas about what it means to go to a hostel. Some have experiences from their early youth of shared rooms, smelly socks, and lockers you had to lock to keep your things safe.
There has been a huge development from the hostel's early beginnings to now.
Here at Danhostel Horsens we rent out all our rooms as private rooms, we leave linen packages in the rooms so guests can make their own beds and, like most hostels, we are located in a really scenic location with a nature reserve in the backyard.
For many, staying in a hostel is a social way to spend their vacation. There is both the opportunity for peace and quiet in the room and the opportunity to meet people in the various common areas on site.
Our mission is to create the framework for all those who choose to visit us, so that they have the opportunity to enjoy their stay here at Danhostel Horsens.
Breakfast
It will be possible to order 1x morning bun or morning plate in our online booking or via email: info@flintenhorsens.dk.
These must be ordered no later than 10:00 the day before.
Note:
We ONLY offer breakfast buffet on dates with major events.
Linen
There is 1x linen package included in the price per person - guests are responsible for making the room themselves.
It is possible to purchase extra bedding, where we will prepare everything for you!
It is therefore important to indicate the correct number of guests who will be using the room, as we will have linen ready for you.
Check-in and Check-out
There is self-check-in every day from 2:00 PM. There will be a note for you at the main entrance to the hostel. The note will explain how to get your keys and get in.
Check-out of the room must be done before 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Pets are not allowed.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring your pet with you at Danhostel Horsens. But we know that there are many other Danhostels that offer this, so please visit Danhostel.dk.
Telephone opening hours
Monday-Saturday 09:00-16:00
Please note: We only have fixed telephone hours. Our reception does not have fixed opening hours. It is therefore not possible to just show up.
Guest kitchen
Our fully equipped guest kitchen is reserved for families and solo travelers. Here you can prepare meals, eat your own home-cooked food, or enjoy a cup of coffee.
Food is not allowed in the rooms.
